NEWBORN
Newborn photos are best done when baby is 12 to 21 days old because babies are usually still quite sleepy and easily posed. Your baby is safely and naturally posed using soft colors and materials for a classic, timeless look while keeping the focus on your baby's purity and sweetness. Safety, comfort, and the well being of your child are the main focus during the session. Newborn sessions are baby led and plenty of time is taken to allow for baby to be fed, cuddled, and changed so that baby is comfortable throughout the session. Newborn Sessions usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours.
Parents also have the option of taking photos with their newborn, both separately and together. Siblings can be included as well. Newborn sessions take place in my home studio located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The studio is a warm, inviting, and safe space where we can capture precious memories of your baby's first few days in the world. My goal is for you to have the most positive, stress-free, and relaxing experience while baby has their first portraits.
MILESTONE
Milestone photo sessions are usually done when baby is between 6 and 9 months old and typically lasts about 45 minutes to one hour. Babies are very expressive and curious at this age. During the session, photos can be taken on several different backgrounds, on their tummy and back, and sitting if able or sitting in a basket if still needing support. There are some cute outfits and hats in the studio that can be used during the session. A milestone photo session is a great way to capture your baby's personality and developmental milestones with beautiful, timeless photos.
CAKE SMASH
Cake Smash photo sessions are a great way to celebrate your child's first birthday. Included in the session is a beautiful, simple white cake made especially for your child. Cake smash sessions usually lasts around an hour. During the session, we start by taking photos without the cake so that you can have beautiful portraits of your child. Then, we take photos of your child with the cake and the session finishes with some photos in a small bathtub with bubbles to get cleaned up. These cake smash photos are great to use on a birthday invitation or to treasure as a precious memory.
